　　本文两段式结构。再次提醒广大考生：完型和阅读理解的行文结构有很大的差异，一般而言，完型的结构比较简单，每段的首句或前几句就是该段的主题句。本文的第一段的第一句The homeless make up a growing percentage of America's population.即为第一段的主题句，growing表明美国的无家可归者数量在增加；第二段首句Finding ways to __10__ this growing homeless population has become increasingly difficult.就是该段的主题句。

[题型]句间逻辑关系题

[解析] 前后两句的意思不难看出：流浪汉占美国人口比重越来越大。____这一比重大到当地政府已经不能______。这两句之间的逻辑关系是：后一句是对前一句的补充并有强调。显然不是因果关系，所以therefore"因此"肯定不对。likewise虽然有并列的逻辑，但含义是similarly, also "相同的、相似的"，一般也不会用于句首，所以不对。furthermore"此外"表递进关系，放在该句中也不对。indeed 是正确答案，表"的确"，同时加强语气。
